Rice flour – 2 cups
Salt – 1 tspCoconut (grated) – 1 cup
- Add salt to the rice flour and mix well.
- Pour hot water to the rice flour. Knead well to get a smooth dough.
- Fill the Idiappam squeezer (seva nazhi) with the rice dough.
- Now squeeze small quantities of the dough into the idli moulds.
- Add grated coconut followed by another layer of the dough.
- Place the idli moulds into the idle cooker and steam well(approximately 8 to 10 mins.
